Welcome to Low Nest Farm
Low Nest Studios are Self Catering Cottages from converted stables and milking parlours of Low Nest Farm, a traditional white washed Lake District farm sat atop Nest Brow with some of the most spectacular views in the Lakes and a short walk from the ancient Castlerigg stone circle.
While Low Nest Farm is no longer actively farmed our fields are still grazed by neighbouring farmers and we’re slowly growing our small holding stock too.

Situated in the converted stables, barns and milking parlours, our well equipped cosy cottages offer everything you need for a lovely stay in the heart of the Lake District
About Us
We’re the Bodens, Alasdair, Heather, Freya and Sophie. You’ll no doubt see us walking around the farm or fields. We love to catch up with all our guests so please don’t hesitate to stop us for a chat. We look forward to welcoming you to Low Nest very soon.
