The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a short break or a fortnight away. With a full fridge freezer, induction hob, built in microwave and even a washer dryer. Of cause not forgetting the rustic & beautiful butler basin sink.

We are always very humbled by the comments and reviews people leave after staying with us. The good old guestbook is full of gems as well as tips and advice for first time visitors.

As you enter through the enclosed courtyard you can sit down and take off any muddy boots and hang up your jackets in the porch before entering your holiday cottage. Inside the soft comfortable sofa on the left is opposite a large window, enabling you to take in the stunning views or snuggle down and watch a favourite show on the smart tv.

The feature of a rustic Belfast sink draws you to the fully stocked kitchen with a double induction hob, oven/grill, kettle, toaster, full height fridge freezer and even a built in washer/dryer. There’s enough room for a couple to cook in and store previsions for a good week or two.

Up a step in an enclosed area (in case you want to shut a dog out of your bedroom), is a large king size bed. The perfect place to crash in after a day exploring the fells and villages of the lakes. The conveniences aren’t far away with a large ensuite next to the bedroom area.

Dollywaggon benefits from a larger enclosed courtyard than our other cottages. This allows you to relax outside with the stunning views while your dog runs around.
